An Innovation launches ...
HESA
HESA was created with the aim of providing, building and developing technical, simple and innovative solutions in the hydraulic and water transfer fields, in various applications.
In the field of wastewater lifting, HESA has developed and perfected a Solid Material Separation and Expulsion Device, marked DSEMS®, the technology, operation and innovation of which have been the subject of a patent filing.
The DSEMS® system makes it possible, in the application of lifting stations, to overcome the problems of wipes by transferring them directly to the WWTP via the wastewater network but without going through the tank of the lifting station.
Solid materials and waste can therefore no longer clog the pumps.
The screen basket is removed as well as its handling by the agent.
This eliminates, among other things, unsanitary stains from town hall agents and employees for cleaning, handling and unclogging the screen basket or pumps.
Saves time, saves money and eliminates painful tasks.
Screen Basket
The screen basket is the protection device for the pumps in a lifting station. When it overflows, the materials are no longer retained.
It must therefore be taken out regularly and cleaned by hand.
During this handling time,
there is no longer any protection for the pumps.
The DSEMS® system in a lifting station:
Human contact
Contact with dirty, unsanitary and bacterial waste as well as splashes of effluent on the face are a dangerous and infectious working environment for agents.
The work environment is unpleasant.
Handling
Handling is mainly done to clean the screen basket and clogged pumps.
This is a significant and curative cost with no gain whatsoever.
With all the hazards involved in manual or hoist handling.
Clogged Pumps
The wipes clog the pumps, blocking them and putting them out of service. The risk of overflowing the station then becomes significant.
It is therefore necessary to take out the pumps.
This operation is curative and physical.
During this time the position is no longer in an optimal situation.
Hydrocleaning
When the basket is overflowing with materials, and the station is saturated with materials and grease, there is no other solution than to clean it with a sewer jetter truck.
This also represents a significant operating cost.
